I actually have never taken a single class in photography in High School or College. I did graduate from SUNY Dutchess in May of 2011 with a degree in Communications and Media arts. I primarily studied digital filmmaking. Within my time there I director numerous short films and one that was selected to be in a Film Festival where it won the Jury Award. This film that I am talking about was shot on DSLR instead of your typical Camcorder so as the Director I took it upon myself to learn this camera in and out to really make this film to the best of my ability. As a way of doing that I took up photography and quickly fell in love with it, which is what lead me to where I am today. I taught myself my camera (Canon 60D) and photoshop with a lot of help from google, owner’s manuals. lol. Are you interested in photography?
