Self Portraiture.
Sorry, I haven’t been posting on here lately. Things have been tough lately around here. This week has been hard. This photo kinda seems to capture where I am at. It may not be perfect but it currently captures the sullen chaos in my mind right now I believe. I don’t really want to get into here because there is a good chance that I will probably cry and I need to keep it together tonight and I have to leave soon, but I will leave you this quote from my favorite movie.
Sometimes there just aren’t enough rocks.
Sidenote: Music to edit to Friday will continue next week. Sorry about that.

So once again, I got the pleasure of spending my Thursday with this adorable little man. I am warning you all now that I will be probably be posting a lot of pictures of Connor on here. He is too dear to my heart not to take pictures of him whenever I get the chance. (yup, you can be sure this picture will be going on my wall) But seriously, I can’t express to you guys how much I love this boy. Also, I promise I will be posting some other stuff besides kids on here in the future. But in the mean time this will just be a Connor appreciation blog, just kidding.

Children’s Portraiture.
So this is my buddy Connor. Connor is the little man closet to my heart. There is just something special about him. You see it when you look at him. I love this little guy so much. He is so small and yet he has been through so much… Every now and again I get to spend the day with this little guy and yesterday just happened to be one of them. He was in such a good mood. He was smiling and giggling over everything and anything yesterday. I believe in the particular picture he was laughing at my husband Justin. But seriously guys doesn’t that adorable tooth-less little small just want to make you want to scream Awwww?

This beautiful family holds a special place in my heart. They were my first shoot I ever did with Painted Lovely Photography. I was so extremely nervous. I wasn’t sure how things were going to turn out. I was so worried that I would miss a moment, the only thing that was moving faster then my shutter was my heart. But I had nothing to worry about! Working with family was effortless, The kids were so happy and full of energy, you couldn’t help but smile back at their grins. And as you can see with the littlest how could my heart not melt?

Portraiture.
So that’s me, Laura Bahr Scharschu. I am a photographer. You won’t find me posting many pictures of myself on here though. I am more of the behind the lens kind of gal. I shoot with a Canon 60D for all you camera tech junkies out there. I think there is beauty in everything in life, you just got to look for it and finding it is the most rewarding thing about being a photographer. Every single time that shutter clicks its like life has been frozen in place, in that moment, forever preserved. I believe that every single person has a story and their own part in history I like to think that I help document that.
